Shepherd's Garb

Hello. My name is Jeremy Dennis Pedron. This space isn't a place for my words to add to the useless, it is simply a resting place for my words and thoughts, in hopes that they can learn to settle.

This is it girl.

Song of the Day: “Serpentine - Chris Bathgate”

A newly discovered band, Chris Bathgate, gives me some new thinking music.

Lyrics:

A long stone and my day’s all serpentine
The tired tarnish in my chest rests sense of SARS
And one dull dawn where they hum that splits its length
Does my name sting your tongue? Now does it beg?

Your thin frame has set my eyes to fray
On our dim stretch of this street, how it aches
For every grey and sad and taut to coil
And our frail eyes and there watch to finally talk

One brash phrase cut crush these fragile days
My thoughts swirl in some shrill sad cannonade
And one such spur that caused my throat to creak
The one dull dawn that I’ve since sensed to repeat

Be Still My Heart
Peter Bradley Adams
Between Us

Song of the Day: “Be Still My Heart - Peter Bradley Adams”

This song always help me slow down when my mind and heart wander.

Lyrics:

I don’t know how love begins
It moves too fast for me to tell
I’ll raise a flag to catch the wind
Safe at the bottom of a well

It came and went just like a spark
And lit a fire in my head
It burned a hole right through my heart
And left a ghost beside my bed

You walk before me
A shape in the dark
A shape in the dark
These dreams they hold me
And tear me apart
They tear me apart

Be still my heart
Be still my heart

One more time before I fall
I’m gonna stand within your reach
And throw my head against the wall
And break the promises I keep

Some day before me
There’s peace in the night
There’s peace in the night
Someday you’ll show me
It all worked out right
It all worked out right

Be still my heart
Be still my heart
Be still my heart
Be still my heart

Lyrics:

"someway, baby, it’s part of me, apart from me"
you’re laying waste to Halloween
you fucked it friend, it’s on its head, it struck the street
you’re in Milwaukee, off your feet

…and at once i knew i was not magnificent
strayed above the highway aisle
(jagged vacance, thick with ice)
i could see for miles, miles, miles

3rd and Lake it burnt away, the hallway
was where we learned to celebrate
automatic bought the years you’d talk for me
that night you played me ‘Lip Parade’
not the needle, nor the thread, the lost decree
saying nothing, that’s enough for me

..and at once i knew i was not magnificent
hulled far from the highway aisle
(jagged vacance, thick with ice)
i could see for miles, miles, miles

christmas night, it clutched the light, the hallow bright
above my brother, i and tangled spines
we smoked the screen to make it what it was to be
now to know it my memory:

…and at once i knew i was not magnificent.
high above the highway aisle
(jagged vacance, thick with ice)
i could see for miles, miles, miles

Song of the Day: “Cmon Talk - Jarle Bernhoft

This song is of a Norwegian singer Jarle Bernhoft. This is the perfect combination of talent, technical skill and a chill riff to get you in the mood. This live recording of “C’mon Talk” (that’s right, this is all LIVE) uses a mix of classic soul with truly innovative techniques to give one amazing performance definitely worth catching. I’ve been thinking a lot since the end of our family affair
And the things that went wrong, in a matter of speaking
Should have been more forthcoming about the things I needed to say
But you’ve seen to be talking to someone else

Now you’ve got me feeling so sorry
For something I didn’t do
You’ve got me crawlin around a gutter
When I should have been busy making love to you

So it’s all smoothed over
You covered your ears real tight
Is it up to me to be telling
The black from the white

Talkin to you is bittersweet
Now Talkin to you is bittersweet
Now Talkin to you is bittersweet
Bittersweet bittersweet
Talking to you is bittersweet
Bittersweet bittersweet

Been now talkin to you
Bittersweet bittersweet

Cmon talk talk talk talk
To me yeah
To me yeah
(Repeat)

So what matters most in the end is beyond our big (blue reeds)???
Had to unfold all the mysteries
It take a different kind of species
I’m unable to handle the weight
Of all of your doubts
What a (new words)???

Now you’ve got me feeling so stupid
When I couldn’t understand
You’ve got me reeling around in circles
Incomprehensible demand

Been talkin to you
Bittersweet bittersweet
Been talkin to you
Bittersweet bittersweet
Bittersweet bittersweet
Bittersweet bittersweet

Cmon talk talk talk talk
To me yeah
To me yeah
(Repeat)

Cmon talk talk talk talk
Bittersweet bittersweet
(Repeat)

Cmon talk talk talk talk
To me yeah
To me me me me me yeah

Incredible.

Ships In The Night
Mat Kearney
Young Love

Song of the Day: “Ships in the Night - Mat Kearney

Mat Kearney always gets some great sound out of his message. This song especially holds some grip on me.

Lyrics:

Like ships in the night
You keep passing me by
Just wasting time
Trying to prove who’s right
And if it all goes crashing into the sea
Its just you and me
Trying to find the light

Like ships in the night letting cannonballs fly
Say what you mean and it turns to a fight
[?] from my mouth to turn south
You’re down the driveway
I’m on the couch
Chasing your dreams since the violent fifth grade
Trying to believe in your silent own way
Cause we’ll be okay, I’m not going away
Watch down the drain
Your pops stayed the same and your moms moved away
How many of our parents make it anyway
We’re just fumbling through the gray
Trying to find a heart that’s not walking away

Turn the lights down low
Walk these halls alone
We can feel so far
From so close

Like ships in the night
You keep passing me by
Just wasting time
Trying to prove who’s right
And if it all goes crashing into the sea
Its just you and me
Trying to find the light
Like ships in the night
Your passing me by
Your passing me by
Like ships in the night

I’m at the airport waitin on the second plane
At the back
And I was late heading to a red carpet
They wont know my name
Riding in silence
All that we wanna say
Bout to board when you call on the phone
You say I’m sorry I’ll be waitin at home
Feels like we’re burning this out on our own
Trying to find our way down a road we don’t know

Turn the lights down low
Walk these halls alone
We can feel so far
From so close

Like ships in the night
You keep passing me by
Just wasting time
Trying to prove who’s right
And if it all goes crashing into the sea
Its just you and me
Trying to find the light
Like ships in the night
Your passing me by
Your passing me by
Like ships in the night

I’m gonna find my way
Back to your side

Like ships in the night
You keep passing me by
Just wasting time
Trying to prove who’s right
And if it all goes crashing into the sea
Its just you and me
Trying to find the light
Like ships in the night
Your passing me by
Your passing me by
Like ships in the night

The Longer I Run
Peter Bradley Adams
Leavetaking

Song of the Day: “The Long I Run - Peter Bradley Adams

It has been awhile since I have used my tumblr for posting. Mostly due to my summer being so open and without good internet. Well here is a song from Peter Bradley Adams. He has a William Fitzsimmons feel to him which makes me want more.

Lyrics:

When that blood runs warm with the warm red wine
I miss the life that I left behind
And when I hear the sound of the blackbird’s cry
I know I left in the nick of time

Well this road I’m on’s gonna turn to sand
And leave me lost in a far-off land
So let me ride the wind ‘till I don’t look back
And forget the life that I almost had

If I wander ‘till I die
May I know whose hand I’m in
And if my home I’ll never find
Then let me live again

The longer I run then the less that I find
Selling my soul for a nickel and dime
Breaking my heart to keep singing these rhymes
And losing again

The longer I run then the less that I find
Selling my soul for a nickel and dime
Breaking my heart to keep singing these rhymes
And losing again

Tell my brother please not to look for me
I ain’t the man that I used to be
But if my saviour comes could you let him know
I’ve gone away for to save my soul

If I wander ‘till I die
May I know whose hand I’m in
And if my home I’ll never find
Then let me live again

The longer I run then the less that I find
Selling my soul for a nickel and dime
Breaking my heart to keep singing these rhymes
And losing again

The longer I run then the less that I find
Selling my soul for a nickel and dime
Breaking my heart to keep singing these rhymes
And losing again

losing again
the longer I run
losing again
losing again

Here we go. Macklemore x Ryan Lewis - Wings.

Summer is here once again! Time to head to the beach with the background beats of “Foster the People.” While summer is great for surfing, sunburns, and relaxing it is also a great time for design! This is my inspired work from a couple of place over this summer. I went on a Hollywood missions trip this summer and saw a lot of artists that would draw famous faces. So I thought I would give it a go on illustrator. Then the colors are some of my favorite because they are beach colors! So this is my 2011 summer profile picture design!
